The Alnwick Story Fest Fringe is back, bringing a vibrant mix of heritage, spoken word, music, and interactive storytelling to the heart of Northumberland. Whether you’re a history buff, a poetry lover, or just in it for the music, there’s something for everyone. Here’s your guide to the must-see events.

6pm Adele Parks opens the ASF 25 followed by an electrifying performance by Spark!

Explore Alnwick’s Heritage

Step back in time with Alnwick Civic Society as they take you on a guided walk exploring the town’s rich history and architectural gems. A must for history lovers!
Storytelling with Sarah McGeough

Alnwick’s ‘Museum of Ordinary Things’

Every object has a story, and now’s your chance to share yours! Bring a treasured item and contribute to Alnwick’s very own ‘Museum of Ordinary Things’—a unique community project celebrating personal histories. (In partnership with Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery, Dovecote Street Arts, and People Make Alnwick).
Spoken Word at the Saturday Fringe

📖 2:15pm: Sean Monaghan reads from Evolution Awakening, his thrilling YA fantasy novel.
🎭 2:30pm: Sonia Ritter—acclaimed actress, singer, and director—shares her experiences in theatre and media.
🔍 3:00pm: Marrisse Whittaker, former TV scriptwriter, on crafting crime thrillers.
📚 3:15pm: Rebecca Poremba discusses her children’s book CROW and Northumberland’s influence on her writing.
🍃 3:30pm: Paul Mein, poet-in-residence at Hauxley Nature Reserve, explores how nature inspires creativity.
